  Music Psychology in Gaming     Music in video games is used to convey certain emotions to the player and to inform the player of the tone of the scene.   Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots   Metal Gear Solid 4 is the game with the biggest emphasize on a certain emotion, sadness, the game had an overall sad theme to the game with all of the sad events in the game, so the game had a soundtrack that matches the tone of the game.   Last of Us   Last of Us is a game that has a generally depressing theme to the game so the game had an equally depressing soundtrack to fit the tone of the game.   Super Mario 64   Super Mario 64 is a game that has an upbeat feeling to the game and the soundtrack matches that by making the player feel happy like the game's overall vibe entails.
