6) No More Heroes







No More Heroes is a game with an even amount of emphasis on the story and gameplay. The story of No More Heroes is a man named 'Travis Touchdown' who works as an assassin, he kills an assassin called 'Helter Skelter' who was the eleventh ranked assassin in the UAA (the United Assassins Association) which makes Travis the eleventh ranked assassin in the UAA and he's told this by one of the members of the UAA Sylvia Crystel, so Travis sets off on his journey to kill the 10 remaining assassins that are ranked above him to become the worlds greatest assassin in the UAA.
 

5) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulation is a game with a bigger emphasis on the story then the gameplay. This game uses the characters from the prior games to tell the story of Dalia Hawthorn's revenge against the Fey clan for having her arrested and executed, she intends to do this by killing off the remaining members of the Fey clan by possessing their bodies and have them commit a murder but as the main character, Defense Attorney Phoenix Wright he has to defend his friend from being arrested for murder in the court of law. There are also other cases where you have other people from being sent to jail for murder but the Mysterious Masked Prosecutor Godot, who knows Phoenix is trying to beat him in the court of law.
 
4) Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky

 Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky is a Pokémon spin of game with an equal amount of emphasis on the story and gameplay. The game starts off with you turning from a human into a Pokémon (the Pokémon you become is dependent on the results of a quiz you do at the begin of the game) and being found by your partner Pokémon (the Pokémon they become depends on which Pokémon you choose to be your partner) and asks you to join an exploration team at the guild, an exploration team helps people by exploring mystery dungeons as the game progress the main character has found out they have a secret ability called the dimensional scream which activates when ever the you touch an object, the dimensional scream allows you to see into the past or future to help you when solving puzzles, which helps you discover more about your past.
 
3) Dangan Ronpa 2: Goodbye Despair
Dangan Ronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is a game where the story has a bigger focus then the gameplay does. The story is about Hajime Hinata going to his new school Hope's Peak Academy where only the best student who have an Ultimate talent which means they are the best in the world at what they do, but when Hajime enters the school he gets knocked out and placed in a room of 15 other students who all have an Ultimate talent, then a stuffed toy rabbit called Usami takes the Students to an island where their only objective is to live peace fully, until a black and white teddy bear called Monokuma takes over the island and forces them to stay on the island for the rest of their lives unless one of them murders another student in which case after an investigation period a class trail is held to try to identify the killer, if the killer is found out and is voted for they are executed and the island life continues but if the killer isn't identified or someone else is voted for everyone besides the killer is executed and the killer gets to leave the island. Each chapter has a motive for murder and each chapter someone kills someone else and the killer is executed which after awhile you'll begin to see that the amount the students is running out. The game also has moments where you can hang out with your classmates to learn more about them and that makes you care about them but they can die this chapter or can survive till the end and it's out of your control.
 
2) Steins; Gate

Steins; Gate is a game where the story is the main focus. The story is about a college student Okabe Rintaro or as he prefers to be called "the insane mad scientist" Hououin Kyouma, where one day he finds a special feature in one his inventions, the Phone Wave (a microwave that can be controlled with a phone), has the ability to send an e-mail back in time, this gives light to several possible ways to change history. The game has a major focus on time travel it goes on about the consequences of time travel, fate and how time travel can be used to alter the world in your favor.  
 
1) Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is a game with a bigger focus on story than gameplay. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is based around Solid Snake, who due to the combination of his Nanomachines and his cloned genes has caused him to rapidly age, has to travel across the world to stop Liquid Ocelot and his special unit the Beauty and the Beast from creating an insurrection and taking over the patriot system which controls every soldier with Nanomachines within them.

Task 2) Video Games that have no stories

An example of a game that doesn't have a story is Tetris, the reason Tetris doesn't at a story is because it is a game designed to played for fun and are for the casual crowd.

Task 3) Difference between movie's stories and Video game's stories

The difference between a story in a movie and a story in a video game is that video games are interactive so that you can go down different paths in the game and in some games get different endings, the other way movie stories are different to video game stories are because movies stories can only go on for 3 hours maximum but video games can last hundreds of hours.

Task 4) What is the difference between Linear and non-Linear stories

The difference between linear and non-linear stories in video game is that a linear stories have format with a beginning, middle and an end, but non-linear stories often times have an heavier emphasize on flashbacks or telling the story from different points in time.
