Website Design - Assignment One - The Draft So for your Emerging techs research now create a website to showcase this research. This website should have:- Home Page: Details about the technology what it is and an introduction to this technology and a YouTube that shows this technology. Impact Page: What impact does this have on society? How does this tech impact on our lives? Are jobs lost or created? Does it make life easier? Ethics Page: Ethical implications, how does this technology impact ethically in our lives? Evolution Page: What does this technology replace (if anything)? Where does this technology evolve from? And another page of your own choice that is about the technology in question. I will need to be written up (in a blog or Doc   post) Cover Page: Title of website Contents Page: table of contents The Home Page will contain all the general information on the Artificial Leaf, to give people all the information that is needed. Task: 3 and 4

Task: 3 and 4 Task 3: Evaluate the importance of using primary sources Positives 1: You own it Conducting a study that creates a primary source as a way to get information is useful because of how you own it and know that it is completely based on the truth and none of it was falsified. As long as the research was carried out in a fair manner then the result that is acquired will always be accurate. 2: It is reliable The answers you receive from primary sources are always reliable because of it was personally made to receive an answer that will be completely fair without taking personal bias into account. 3: You can ask your own questions Creating a primary source is useful because of how you can set up your own questions that will be answered by people. This allows you to receive answers to the questions you want.  4: You can get direct feedback Creating a survey to make your own primary source will allow you to make your own questions that will always give you f

Unit 4 and 5: Game Evaluation

Unit 4 and 5: Game Evaluation Brief The initial brief was to make a game that has clowns in it, we could do anything with this concept. Level Design Idea Plot: A man/woman was abandoned by a taxi driver on the road, due to some issue with the road ahead. The character is given directions quickly before the driver drove away. The character (man/woman) then travels through a natural environment (Level 1). In this level you are introduced with combat, due to a wild animal wanting to kill you. Then finally you arrive at a village (Level 2) The character wants to find the reason on why most of the population of the village has left so suddenly. With t problems talking to the villagers due to them locking themselves in there homes. the character then sets of to the main square, which he finds a clown in centre of. The clown then fights you with some help of other clowns. When the clowns are killed one of the villagers shouts you over and explains. The person explains on the his

Unit 67 Task 2: Animation Analysis

Unit 67 Task 2: Animation Analysis How I made my animation? I made my animation by using Maya, I did this because I had no knowledge of how to animate in Unreal so I decided to use the program that I had more experience with. I made the animation by saving Key Frames at points in the timeline where it was needed to be in certain places. I rendered the video with Maya and with Adobe After Effects, I did this because it was the only way I knew how to render and it would continue rendering while I could work on other projects. I set up dynamic lighting, I did this so that I could have a more natural lighting in the environment and so it could cast shadows which made the scene more intimidating. I made the clown fall from the sky so that I don't have to animate leg movement, for the character I had him slide across the ground so that he could move and due to the first person camera, it wasn't obvious that his legs weren't moving. I moved all of the models w

Unit 71: Assignment 2

Unit 71: Assignment 2 Object-Oriented Modelling Object-Oriented Modelling is a construction of code in a way that it makes things happen depending on the order of the code and the properties it has. In our game I have used Object-Oriented Modelling in several different ways with the coding in my game, I have done this so that I can improve on my game by adding things that real games would have (e.g. Health bar, enemy AI). Unreal The coding in Unreal is used by connecting pieces of code which helps the user modify the game to have more depth to it. Whenever there is an error in the code the engine will label the piece of code that is causing the error so you know what to change. The coding that I used in Unreal was the visual appearance and not the lines of code because of how the visual makes it easier to see and connect the code. I put in a health bar the filled up as the game was playing, I did this by putting in several pieces of code into Unreal. This code not only

Unit 67:Assignment 4 Creating 3D animation sequence Task 1 This animation will be placed at the beginning of the stage. We will make it 30 seconds long. The main character wakes up and gets out of bed. The main character walks to the bars of the cell. The cell opens up and an inmate falls from the upper floor. The main character goes to the body of the inmate and takes the gun from him. The main character looks to the left and sees a clown jump from the second floor. The main character shoots the clown. The animation will be used as the opening cutscene for our level. The target audience will be the same audience as the audience for the movie which is 18+ year old's who like cheesy horror movies. The things that will be required are: the model for the prison cell, the clown, the gun and the inmate. Here is the timeline.

Unit 6 - Assignment 2 - Task 2 P4 Analysis of a computer game

Unit 6 - Assignment 2 - Task 2 P4 Analysis of a computer game GioGio's Bizarre Adventure is an adaptation of the fifth part of the now 30-year-old manga series, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, this game was released on July 22nd, 2002. Analysis of the game GioGio's Bizarre Adventure (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure part 5 Vento Aureo/Golden Wind) has tried to adapt the art style of the manga and it works really well, with most people consider the game's visuals gorgeous and a good representation of the manga's art style, though people have noted that the environments look blurry up close. The game has a nice Italian styled soundtrack with good voice acting and good sound effects. The game follows the plot of the manga so it has stages where you only fight a boss fight with different characters these, boss fights also have secret factors which are little events that you can do to get a bigger health bar, these secret factors are based on things that hav
